What we collect

• Ticket details you provide — violation code, summons number, plate, dates, and the notes you type — so we can show odds and draft your letter.
• Your email address — only if you ask us to email your odds or buy a letter. We use it to deliver what you asked for and for transactional messages (receipts, delivery).
• Ticket photos — used once, on the spot, to read your ticket. Photos are discarded after reading; we keep only the extracted details.
• Basic technical data — IP address (to enforce the free-lookup limit) and standard request logs.

What we don't do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never send marketing email without your explicit opt-in. Your free-tier email is for your odds and letter delivery only.
• We don't run ads on your data or share it with data brokers.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe sends us only the payment confirmation.

Unsubscribe & deletion

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To delete your data entirely, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my TicketBeat data" and we'll remove your captures, orders, and letters within 30 days.

Data retention

Free-tier captures are kept for 24 months. Paid orders and generated letters are kept for 7 years for tax and record-keeping, then deleted.
